Felt Hat

Knit with a double strand of yarn on large needles. Choose from four different brim variations. All are quick and easy to knit and fun to felt.

Size: Will fit most adults.

Yarn Requirements: Hat is knit with 2 worsted weight yarns held together. You will need approximately 200 yds (183m) of each yarn for the basic style or
250 yds (229m) each for the wide brim style.
Use 2 strands of the same yarn or use a strand of worsted weight wool held with a strand of mohair (or mohair/wool blend).

Needles: 24" circular and a set of dp needles in US size 11Size 11 needle.

Felt Hat II

This lightweight felt hat offers a choice of three sizes and two brim variations. Made in a single strand of worsted weight, it is great for handpainted yarns.

Three Sizes: Child (adult small, adult large).

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 250 (300, 340) yards of worsted weight wool or wool / mohair blend for the wide brim version. Approximately 30 (40, 45) yards less for the narrow brim hat.
