The death of George Floyd inspired me to paint his portrait in abstract, as I open up about the subject of racism. I grew up in the 60s in a place where dark skin was not very popular. As I explain this painful subject with my grandpeople, I am able to talk about an ugly kkk gathering that I was unfortunate to witness as a little girl. Surrounded by racism I was able to leave all that behind and start a better life, where my children were raised to be ‘color’blind. Forgive the tears, this is the most painful subject that I ever hope to film.

I'm an artist living on Camano Island Wa. My watercolors are unique because I use the properties of the pigment to interact with the energy of the water to create colorplays and interesting objects. When I get a good one I have it scanned. Prints can be purchased as cards, prints or 'print at home'. I have a fine art america account for you to check out as well. Hand in hand I film my process and feature my endevers on my youtube channel 'the Fabulous Traveling Art Sudio.'
